"We have 2 other Gaiam filters in the house but this one was purchased for the use of bathing our 2.5 month old daughter in the kitchen sink now and bathtub later. In a hurry, the other day I bathed her in the tub (without the Bath Ball)- it was out of reach in the kitchen, and immediately her skin clearly felt stripped and squeeky- not soft, moist and lubricated as it did with the Bath Ball- I won't do that again! The design could possibly be improved, but as faucets are varied, how is a good question.
The cost could also be A LOT less!"

FEATURED REVIEW FEATURED REVIEW
Frustrating but effective Date: December 25, 2008
"I am a regular bathtaker, since my landlady installed a very tiny, cheap, almost non-functional showerhead in my bathroom. I do love taking baths anyway, so I wanted to make them healthier. The difference that I see is slight, but I can tell there is one. My tub faucet is small, smooth, and slopes downwards, so I have to hang the ball by rubber bands from the shower switch (about six inches above it). I can't run the water at full strength because it spills over the ball, but still, better that than chlorine soaking into my hair and skin. It's frustrating having to rig the rubberbands, but I want to keep it anyway for the sake of my health."

"My husband and I take daily baths so we were very interested in having the chlorine removed from our bathwater. Just as other users have noted, the bathball does not fit our bath faucet either. We have to secure it with rubber bands and even though it stays on the faucet, 1/2 the water flows over the sides of the bathball. It has lasted several months but it must be because not much water actually goes through the filter.
We are disappointed that it doesn't work well because we have no other options for de-chlorinating our bath water. We are hoping that 2009 will bring an improved product"

We appreciate your feedback on this product.
Because this hangs from the faucet, it is not guaranteed to work with every faucet style.

"I was excited about the bath ball, as our water has a high chlorine content. Unfortunately, the bath ball does not fit on our faucet. We do not have a weird shaped faucet, so I was sure it wouldn't be a problem...I was wrong. I have to hold the bath ball up to the faucet with my hand to have the water filtered. So, it is not practical for me. When I do manage to get the bath ball to hang on the faucet without falling, it hangs so low that a good amount of the water is not making it into the filter. I have been thinking of different solutions, but I don't like the idea of spending a lot of extra time & money just to make this functional."
