works well, could fit better
Date: October 27, 2009
"We have a small toilet room in our 1900 Early Ecclectic Home that doesn't have a sink. I put this on the toilet and presto! Perfect for washing the hands after using the toilet, but not recommended for any other uses such as teeth brushing as you can't control the flow. I must say though there is plenty of time & water for a good hand wash with soap.
The sink lid doesn't fit over our brand new American Standard Champion 4 toilet tank, and for kicks I laid it over our other toilet - a Toto Drake. On the Toto it looked too big, and for both toilets the sink edge rested just above the toilet flush handle, so it is awkward to reach the handle for flushing. After a bit of sawing pieces of the sink edge off to accommodate the American Standard, it is usable now, but looks a bit hoaky, and definitely I think for just about any toilet it will look like an add-on.
While it's a great concept, I think that the makers of this sink lid need to go a step further and start offering a few different sizes, and publish recommended toilet tank sizes for each, for this to really become a popular item.
This item is mostly plastic, so I'm not sure why it is priced at over $100, but in perspective to now have a sink in our small loo closet for that cost I am happy."

Clever Invention!
Date: August 25, 2008
"This is a great idea. Every time I wash my hands, I think of its cleverness. We've had it for several months and it works great. Guests are a little baffled at first, but once they realize that the water is perfectly fine and clean, they think it's great, too."

Fresh, clean water from the pipes
Date: July 2, 2008
"This may seem strange or gross at first, but once you realize that this water is coming from the same pipe that feeds your bathroom sink (it attaches BEFORE the tank) then you'll understand what a great water-saving idea it is.
I have two toilets in my house. This didn't fit the one upstairs because that toilet has a strange shape with the handle kind of placed on the curve to the side instead of in front. Other than that, it's exactly what I thought I was getting and I couldn't be happier.
