"I have absolutely loved every item I've purchased from Gaiam, so when it came time to look for a new set of towels naturally this was my first choice. After reading all the good reviews for this product I decided to purchase a set of Thick & Thirsty Organic Towels. When they arrived I was very happy with the thick, soft texture and luxurious color. However the problems began when I put them in the wash: they pilled and kept pilling. Little bits of lint were left inside of the washing machine, and huge clumps in the dryer. The problem does not go away with repeated washings, as I'd hoped. Every time I use the towels I end up with lint particles in my hair and on my body. These towels are very beautiful so it's a shame that this is happening. I don't know what I could've done differently to prevent this and wish there was somehow I could fix this problem."

"I purchased these towels in April and loved them from the moment I took them out of the box. They are soft, thick and luxurious! We liked them so much, we purchased ten sets of these towels over the next month. It is September, and I've been using these towels for five months. The edges of the towels are beginning to fray and fall apart. They are still soft, and only seem to get softer the more you use and wash them, however, if you want towels that will look nice for more than a few months, I don't recommend them."
