"I love the look and feel of this caddy and really wish it was of better quality. So much so that I actually bought two of these, I was actually sucked in to buying another one after the first one disintegrated - after 12 months it was black with mold, despite regularly cleaning it and sitting it in the sun, and the bamboo took on so much water (this product is claimed to be 'naturally resistant to water' - um, did anyone ever product test this claim before putting it on the market? in real life it is the opposite, it sucks up water like a sponge) that it became soft and crumbly, the glue between all the joins dissolved, and the whole thing eventually disintegrated. But - because how I loved how it looked when I first bought it - I stupidly purchased another one thinking maybe they have improved it somehow - maybe put a waterproof coating on it? The second one took even less time to completely fall apart! Two months and it is has taken on so much water is covered in mold and looks just as bad as the first one, except that it happened in much less time. What terrible quality and a big waste of money. I will never buy anything from Gaiam ever again - quality is horrible and I don't trust that they actually even test their products for quality and effectiveness before selling them at inflated prices. Do not buy this - unless you want to spend time cleaning it and drying it out every single day, or maybe coating it yourself in some kind of waterproof treatment - you will be disappointed."
