"We only had these installed for 3 months and the towel bar started to rust and stained our towels badly. It is a very beautiful set and we love the looks, but it may be better for a bathroom with towels that rarely gets used (or with rust-brown colored towels). We have it in our only bathroom, so we hang damp towels on the rack about every other day after showering. The other pieces (hand towel, hook, and TP holder) are mostly fine, though one does have a small rust spot forming on it, that rust spot isn't in a place that will damage anything. Gaiam contacted the manufacturer for us about it and they basically said that rust happens and we could return it if we want."
