"I was so stunned at the negative reviews for this gown that I had to write my own review. I have three gowns in lavender which I've had for a couple of years. I wear them every night during cooler weather and I wash them often. Gentle cycle not needed. I've lost weight since I bought the gowns, so I plan to buy three more in small. I also bought three gowns in the stream color for my 89 y.o. mother. The color is as shown on my monitor - soft blue/green, definitely NOT gray. My mother says she has never worn anything so comfortable. I definitely give this gown five stars."

"Bar none the most comfortable, well made nightgown ever. I loved it so much I bought 3. Two for home and one for my vacation home. I do suggest you hang dry to avoid any shrinkage if you like your gowns long and snuggly."

"sadly, i have to agree with the review who said this nightgown is corpse gray.... there is no "stream" light blue-green remotely in this too-ugly-for-words color. It is too ghastly to wear even to sleep in. I've not ordered before... and likely won't again.very disappointing."

"I HAVE TO AGREE WITH "PEGK"----THESE NIGHTGOWNS ARE THE BEST. I'VE BEEN WEARING THEM FOR YEARS----I HAVE SEVERAL OF THE SUMMER ONES AND SEVERAL OF THE WINTER ONES. THEY ARE VERY ROOMY SO SOME FOLKS MAY WANT TO ORDER DOWN A SIZE BUT THEY ARE SOFT AND EXTREMELY COMFY. THE COLOR VARIATIONS, IF ANY, MAY BE DUE TO THE FACT THAT THESE ARE "GREEN" PRODUCTS, I BELIEVE, AND THE DYES MAY NOT BE STRONG OR CONSISTENT WITH REGULAR CHEMICAL DYES. THEY ARE WELL MADE AND NEVER SEEM TO WEAR OUT.... I JUST CONTINUE TO BUY SOME FROM GAIAM WHEN THEY HAVE A "SALE" SO I CAN BE SURE TO HAVE THEM IN CASE GAIAM STOPS CARRYING THEM."

"I had bought this comfortable nightgown a couple years ago in a beautiful lavender, and was excited to see that there were new colors. I liked the look of the pretty blue color, called "Stream", shown in the catalogue and on-line. Imagine my horror when it arrived: it is a stomach-turning CORPSE GREY. Not blue by any stretch of the imagination. If that is a "Stream", than the stream in question must be horribly polluted! Needless to say, I am returning it, very disappointed."

"I first ordered a large because I am a size 12, and the measurement chart said I should get a large. It was gigantic! So I sent it back and got a medium. The medium fits fairly well after I tried to shrink it (it shrunk some thankfully). Otherwise it is very comfy, and I'm sure I'll be wearing it for awhile, since it has plenty of room and I just found out I'm pregnant."
