Haitian artisans take clean 55-gallon oil drums and flatten them into a "canvas," draw a pattern in chalk and then hand chisel and hammer the metal into these intricate sculptures. Each Double Tree of Life Wall Sculpture is signed by the artist. Lacquer-finished for indoor or outdoor use. Haiti.

"The art work is really beautiful, much more so than in the picture. There is depth to the piece, areas stick out and it adds some great dimension. I do, however, wish that it was a bit larger."

"I recently purchased this wall hanging for my dining room. The picture in the catalog does not show how detailed it really is. I have received many compliments on it. I love the fact that it is made from recylcled oil drums, especially now that everyone is trying to be "green". The only thing that I would improve on it is to add a small hook for hanging."

"I adore this lovely artwork. It is surprisingly lightweight, but appears very substantial and in no way appears cheap or common. It is very distinctive, the design is unique and the carvings are very detailed, but at the same time is not fussy or busy. In fact, it is very serene and charming. I hung it on a wall in my enrty way that is painted in a pale blue-gray and the color of the wall shows in between the carving. It really comes to life and looks wonderful. I am very happy with this item and am sure I will enjoy it for many, many years. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for something nice to add to their home."

"I bought this to put in my bedroom wall, right above my dark wood bed and it looks absolutely gorgeous! Gives a sense of peace and serenity to the bedroom, which is exactly the theme I want my bedroom to have. Despite being made with metal, it is not heavy at all, and it's up on my wall steady with just a few nails. The piece is also not flat but has some 3-D effect to it so it gives life to this beautiful artwork. I am amazed how this one piece can give so much character to what used to be a plain white wall. I think it's a great item to have either indoors or outdoors."
