Good Information, Yoga Accessible for Beginners

"Drafted into early menopause, I've been sorting fact from fiction as I embark upon my journey. I like that the discussion section of this DVD stresses that menopause is not a disease, but rather a natural phase of life. I thought the information section was presented in a very understandable format and was interesting. In the yoga section, the instructor was pleasant and, even though I don't have yoga experience, I was able to understand her directions for moving into the poses (although when she refers to right or left, she means hers, not the viewers). The outdoor setting for the yoga part is beautiful, and I very much appreciated that the instructor and the two women with her were age appropriate to the subject matter and dressed with a modicum of decorum (no 20-somethings with bare midriffs and short shorts). I also liked that she didn't instruct in voiceover or talk in whispery monotones as is found on so many other yoga videos. After watching the information section once, I don't know that I will refer to that part again, but I've used the yoga section on several occasions now; I enjoy it and feel good afterward."
