"The design really pops and stands out..so my students know where to sit-not on my mat-lol. It's easy to roll up( put back in the bag) & it's easy to know which mat is yours. The detail/design adds an individualistic touch to the rest of them out there. I just wish it was a bit thicker..but, I sometimes fold it in half-that does the trick at times...."

"This mat is not only perfect in stickiness, but is a standout in class with its style. I loved it so much I got the pink mat and carry bag for my 24 year old daughter. She loves her mat also.

I have had more people ask where I got my mat. Of course, it's Gaiam!"

"This mat is really great for the price. The design is very relaxing. The only thing that I do not like about this mat is that it's not very sticky. If your hands start to get sweaty, you tend to start slipping."

Beautiful inspiring design, but nothing more Date: May 11, 2009
"I bought a Gaiam mat in college, and it has since lost its stickiness (it was a cheap one, I think). I saw this one and loved the pattern and natural colors, so I got it...but it's just about the same quality as my older Gaiam one, except it's prettier. The rubbery smell is a bit off-putting and I've had a tough time being inspired to do more yoga because I gag at the smell. Sad day. I also have the bag, and it's a bit large for this one mat- it would fit two mats rolled together quite nicely.

I think I'd be more interested in a more natural one if possible, for my next purchase. However, it was worth it for the price I paid."
