"So this mat isn't one of the really expensive ones I see some people rolling out in my yoga studio but I think it's more beautiful and it defnitely gets the job done just as well. (And I have used more expensive mats).

It may have had a bit of a new plastic smell (which I actually like) when I first got it and didn't grip as well as it should, but it broke in after a few uses and is now perfect. I am always happy to be greeted with my this beautiful mat when I begin my practice."

"i have used this and i LOVE it! it works and its not slippery, i love using it and it i love the tree pattern and the bag is sooo roomy i can fit my mat and my personal items! I love it sooo much!"

"This is such a beautiful yoga mat and is everything I have been looking for! It looks exactly as depicted and is very comfortable.

I did find it for a couple bucks cheaper at the Target I went to... but I'm glad I found it, because it was the last one there! I was so happy with my purchase that I immediately showed one of my friends, and she bought one of the other designs later that day.

Other than that, I don't know what horrible smell anyone is talking about. The first reviewer is probably just exaggerating/doesn't realize the product is going to smell like what it is made of."
