"After much searching, I actually found this kit in a store. I've been doing yoga off/on for a couple years now, and lately have really started to try becoming healthier, stronger, more flexible, etc. and knew I wanted to get back into yoga. I've been using a towel for about a month, and after becoming reacquainted with the basic poses decided I needed a mat. I turned to Gaiam, of course, because I knew I could trust the quality (which is great in this kit). The mat itself is great, just sticky enough to keep me from slipping around (however, it doesn't match the mat that Rodney Yee uses in the DVD, which I found a little odd; I would have liked the one I saw him use as I think it would have helped with alignment a little more than the one that was included in the kit - the one he uses has more bars on it so you can remember where your feet and hands should be for your own comfort level). The foam block is great, taking all the weight I put on it without bending or warping at all. The strap is nice and long, and works well to keep my mat rolled up! The DVD is fantastic. The Daily Yoga routine is really perfect, and just the right amount of time (twenty minutes). The A.M. yoga routine is equally wonderful, and does a great job of energizing me for my day. To get the DVD, strap, block, and mat all for thirty dollars is a STEAL. Seriously. Especially considering how great a teacher Rodney Yee is. My only issue with the DVD is that he doesn't take the time to explain the basic postures presented in the routines, which I feel would be very helpful for somebody who is truly a beginner and knows very little about yoga. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase. If you are thinking about getting this kit, BUY IT. The best thirty dollars you'll ever spend. : )"
