"These poles add a wonderful dimension to a walking routine. Four enhancements are immediately experienced: your gait is smoother and more even over a variable terrain, your speed is quicker because the poles help with propulsion, your arms get a workout, and your carriage is more erect helping you to keep your abdominal muscles tight. Where a normal brisk walk is a good workout, walking with the poles is a much more intense and therefore better workout. Plus, walking is a lot more fun with these poles!"

"This product adds to the walking and/or hiking workout. the only problem I had was in adjusting the poles. you have to work at it but it does adjust with a little patience."
