"I had thirty years of mineral rust in my Tucson toilet, where the water is hard hard hard. Every product I tried failed to remove the rust stain in the bottom of the bowl. Here's what I did: I poured a gallon of water into the bowl so it would flush and not refill. I then poured a half bottle of Descale-it Toilet Bowl Cleaner into the bottom of the bowl where it adhered to the nasty rust. I left it overnight. In the morning, I could see the first improvement in thirty years! I scrubbed with a soft pumice stone for a few minutes, and the rest of the rust disappeared with the first flush. My toilet looks like new! Thank you, Descale-it manufacturers! I shall sing your praises all over the internet!"

"This product is the best on scale and lime in the toilet. We have hard water and a constant problem with build-up. I just push out as much water as possible, squirt in Descale-it and a few hours later brush it out. I have also used this on soap and hard water scum on my shower walls with equally great results. I can't believe this stuff is environmentally safe which makes it even better!"

"Descale-It is amazing at releasing calcium deposits in the toilet. We used the typical cleaners, plus tried to chip it away, even with a plumbers snake. Flushes were still very inconsistent, and usually weak. Nothing was working until we used Descale-It.
Turn off the water valve, flush and remove most of the remaining water from the bowl. Squirt the product under the rim of the bowl, then add some to the remaining water in bottom of the bowl. Let sit overnight.
Since ours had very weak flushes, we used about one cup total. We left it overnight; probably ten hours. The calcification came off in sheets! I gave it a vigorous scrubbing with the brush, and it flushed perfectly. Flushes are strong and consistent now. We have very hard water, so we will probably treat the toilets every few months for preventative maintenance.
It works so well and has an exceptionally mild and pleasant scent. That it is ecologically sound and biodegradable is a real bonus. GREAT PRODUCT!"

"We are also a famlily that lets it mellow if its yellow.This cuts through the scale and stains after about a 15 minute wait. I alternate with use with another green toilet cleaner. I like this product!"

"We have very hard water and like another reviewer, 'let it mellow if it's yellow' to conserve water. We were using a pumice stone weekly to remove urine-stained mineral deposits. We followed directions -- emptied bowl of water, applied the cleaner, and let it sit several hours. One quick scrub with the toilet-bowl brush and all deposits and stains were gone! Three weeks later, faint deposits were appearing again and a short treatment and brief scrub took care of them. Now we cannot imagine life without Descale-it."

"This may be one of the best "environmentally-friendly" cleaners ever. It works better than any other toilet-bowl cleaner I've used (including some traditional ones). If you're a "let it mellow if it's yellow" household, this really works to remove scale buildup."
