Lovely sound

"Turn the box upside down, and tiny beeds attach to a sticky strip. Not all of them stick - and those that don't will fall down immediately - but following that, the rest slowly trickle down, one by one. The sound is random, not steady, like rain, but it is very pleasant and relaxing, nonetheless. I found the box to be well-made and attractive, the chimes' quality of sound is beautiful."

dissapointing

"Would not discribe the box as lovely maple, more like cheap plywood, poorly constructed. The sound is lovely when it works but it doesn't work at all like expected."

Stops Working!

"I loved the rain chime when I first got it; however, after about six months, the sticky strip that holds the beads loses it's stickiness (I live in Nevada, so it's probably drier here and that doesn't help)...Gaiam doesn't have replacement pads and I can't find any way to duplicate the sticky pad (I've tried). So now it's just a pretty, but useless, box full of beads. I've had this for several years now and will keep hoping Gaiam will start offering replacement sticky pads or at least a suggestion on how to duplicate it.
I wouldn't recommend purchasing --"
