"The area where we live is ranked as the second most overcast area of the country. I dread the fall because as the days get shorter my husband struggles more and more with getting out of bed. This is our first year with the HappyLite, but so far I would say it is working! He is getting up regularly and is in a much better mood."

Don't Suffer Through Another Winter

"Living in the upper Midwest my whole life, I noticed that every November I'd start withdrawing and my feelings of apathy toward everything and depression symptoms began and they didn't go away until well into April. I'd read about Seasonal Affective Disorder and the highly effective, all-natural SAD treatment through light therapy.

I'm so glad I bought this. It's a bit expensive for some people (me included) but I cannot over-emphasize how much it has changed my life. Truly. I used to dread winters and each year my depression got worse. Two years ago I started the light treatment -- 30 minutes every morning while I read the newspaper/ate breakfast/checked email. The difference is unbelievable. Sure, I still had some "down" days but for the most part, I didn't lose myself (or my mind) in the depths of winter. My family, friends, and boyfriend also noticed the marked difference in my mood and level of energy. Winter in the Midwest will never be my favorite season, but at least now I feel well prepared and "in charge" during those months where my life used to feel out of control.

If you suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder, I strongly recommend trying this -- at worst it will do nothing -- at best it could change your life for the better."

"I have suffered from low energy and seasonal depression for years. I recently purchased and started using the HappyLight. I've already noticed an increase in my energy and positive changes in my mood. I wish I would have used this years ago - am happy I am using it now. I am finally looking forward to winter!"
