"We try to compost as much as possible in our home; we have a pile in the back and a large bin nearer to the veggie garden. This composter is awesome because you can keep it handy in the kitchen and it actually breaks down your scraps more quickly than larger bins & piles. It also makes a compost tea that is fabulous for your garden. My mother gave this to us as a gift, and we've used it for a year now. Our veggies and flowers love the tea!
I would give it 4 stars except that the top is a pain to get on and off and doesn't even seal well for all that, which means that the smell can get pretty ooky. It also allows buggies in, and though I'm a nurse and have a strong stomach, I get the hebeejebees when I see maggot larvae. Aside from those issues, I love this product!"

Review 3 for All Food Recycling Compost Kit with Bokashi
"The tub is a good size and the bokashi works well, however this design needs work! The top is a drag to remove when you have a handfull of sloppy veggies you want to deposit and the top is also not made of durable plastic . Mine has already torn at the edge, so soon it will not seal the smelly contents. This should have a durable easily lift up top that hinges and seals with a clip. There should be a side pocket for the bokashi to be stored so you don't have to fight with opening and resealing the bag."

Review 4 for All Food Recycling Compost Kit with Bokashi
"We've been using the Bokashi system for over a year, and I couldn't be more pleased. Not only are we reusing our kitchen scraps for compost (which is wonderfully high quality) but our garbage has no odor anymore (because no food goes into it) and we use fewer garbage bags. It's especially useful for those of us with small houses and yards, since the Bokashi bucket doesn't take up much room, and outside you won't need a big compost pile."
