Based on lamp designs premiered at the St. Louis Exposition in 1904, the Brookfield™ Deluxe Full Spectrum Desk and Floor Lamp take the traditional reading lamp to new levels and are a perfect combination of antique styling and 21st century efficiency. Each use a 26W (floor lamp) or 18W (desk lamp) bulb (included) that lasts 10,000 hours and boasts 150W and 75W of light respectively. Good reading light, modern style

"We bought this to use as a reading light, and the natural spectrum light illuminates the page well with no harshness. The natural light is bluer and colder than the other lights we turn on in the evening (no help with ambiance) but at least it's focused in the reading area instead of spreading all over the room.

The bronze finish looks unnatural, like a nail polish in a medium coffee color with amber and ruby glinting underneath. The lamp doesn't have the classic appearance I was searching for, but it's good for reading, so we'll keep it."
