"I have used this clock for 3 years and love it! I don't use the meditation features often but use it for my alarm clock all the time. I am NOT a morning person and find it super-stressful to get yanked out of a deep sleep at 5 a.m. for work by a "normal" alarm clock. I use this one in combination with a dawn simulator to make for a gentle waking. When the chime begins to ring, you don't have to reach for the off button right away, because you get one "ding" followed by a ~3 minute pause. Mmmm, like having automatic snooze. The chimes gradually get closer together, bringing you gradually into a waking state over a few minutes. Waking up at 5 a.m. will probably never be my idea of fun, but at least now it is not jarring."
