"I bought this for my parents who are in their 60s/70s. They are experienced composters/gardeners and have used this type of composter before. They said it was easy to put together and they haven't had any problems with it. They wonder if the brown bears will be able to get into it, but haven't reported any incidents yet. I've got the same composter at home (it came with the house). I add stuff all the time and rarely turn it or pay any attention to it at all, but when I need compost, there's always some ready. Make sure you are putting it in a good location, as it would certainly not be easy to move if full. Also, it has no bottom and rests on the ground."

Too Hard to Get Oxygen In Date: April 17, 2009
"First the good news: This unit is cheap.
Not so good news: It needs assembly.
Sucks: Hard to move.
Bad news: I've had this composter for a couple of years and find that it takes TOO long to make good compost. Too hard to mix.

I'm considering investing in a composter that turns.
