"I bought this lantern for my deck thinking it would look great hanging from a chain over my table. My porch gets direct sunlight for most of the day. I actually put this lantern in direct sunlight for at least 8 hours and the best I get out of it at night is a dim glow for maybe an hour or two. I also have other solar lights in my window boxes that were purchased somewhere else that stay bright all night long. I had hight hopes for this lantern and it really dissapointed me. If I had kept the packaging I would have sent it back. It is still pretty regardless...but not worth the 50 bucks I paid for it. Sorry."
