Thankyou for these bags
Date: October 22, 2009
"I was so tired of cleaning the slimy, rotting fruits and veggies from the bottom of my compost container. These bags are a gift in my busy day, so much easier and more pleasant to take the compost out with these. Another bonus is that my children aren't grossed out by the chore either, so they're more willing to do it for me and hopefully when they live on their own (soon, I hope) they will continue to recycle! I'm working on all three of them!"

a really good idea
Date: October 20, 2009
"I purchased the BioBags Pet Waste Bags because it struck me as insane to be putting something biodegradable(dog poo) in something that would prevent its degradation and pollute the earth twice over. These pet waste bags are easy to use, durable in the hand, light in weight, and sized correctly. They do what they're supposed to, I'm reducing my household waste, and they limit my need to collect petroleum-based plastic bags. I feel really good about making the choice to use them"

Great Concept, But...
Date: June 23, 2009
"I was very excited to find this product and wondered why all trash bags couldn't be made from 100% biodegradable resources. Willing to pay more for such an item in support of a positive trend in environmentally friendly product use, I must admit that the Lawn & Leaf bags have their shortcomings:
1) They are extremely thin. Even when one is nested inside another, they more often than not, tear apart when you attempt to pick one up, pull its perforated tear-off tie, or and only fill the double-bag half-full with dry leaves.
2) While that flimsiness sounds like an an attribute when it comes to decomposition in a home compost, after placing just one bag shredded into small pieces into my well-known-brand stacked and covered composter 6 months ago, have yet to decompose. (I live in a "Mediterranean climate" zone and my compost is otherwise successful.)
At least one can be satisfied that they will biodegrade eventually."

Another Use for Dog Waste Bags
Date: April 2, 2009
"My husband and I started looking for a green alternative to cleaning our kitty's commode into a plastic bag. We use the Feline Pine kitty litter and that works great, but what's the use of using biodegradable kitty litter if you're going to just put it in a plastic bag. We found the BioBags at our local pet store. They work great! We clean our kitty's commode once a day and just tie the bag shut when finished. We've found we like the large bags the best."

Minimize the Mess of Composting Kitchen Scraps
Date: November 12, 2008
"We have been using these for about one month. They are a great way to minimize the mess of composting kitchen scraps. Just grab the liner, walk outside, and toss it in the compost bin. I'm a little skeptical about whether they will break down in our compost bin, but we shall see."

If you have to do poo patrol ...
Date: August 27, 2008
"These bags take up less space than the standard convenience store plastic bag, so you can fit a bunch inside the leash barrel... (they are plenty big for big dog poo)... and they are softer so they don't make that annoying sound the other bags do when they're in your pocket. they are more discreet, being black and all. If the idea of all those plastic bags rotting in landfills gets to you, this is the bag for poo... BRILLIANT AND RESPONSIBLE."
