"This was not my first detox, but it is one of the few that I have tried that I would repeat again. The actual detox regimen is for 7 days and the last 7 days are the processing of the cleanse itself.
The supplement had a very pleasant consistency, was easy to digest and was not offensive in odor or taste.
The patches had a vague 'coffee' type earthy smell to them, but it was slight enough that I could even wear them during the day while I was at work or sleep in them without it disturbing me or those around me.
The bath was absolutely a delight; refreshing and relaxing on all levels.
On some cleanses I've done there has been a fair amount of one spectrum swing or the other between diarrhea or constipation but with this detox neither occurred.
There are a few things to be prepared for before you do a detox (if you want it to be the most effective) 1) be prepared to not drink alcohol or caffeine while on the cleanse, 2) limit your refined sugar intake, 3) abstain from overly processed or fatty foods (in my experience these foods, fried food especially, will not be a pleasant experience to digest while on the cleanse, 4) drink more water than you think you need, 5) allow that you may be a little fatigued and need a bit more rest one or two nights of the cleanse depending on how your body reacts to it.
Please be aware that if you do drink while on the cleanse it may 'hit' you a bit harder than you were expecting. I had two glasses of wine one evening to celebrate a friend's birthday and was surprised at the impact of it. Just FYI.
No hesitation in recommending this product and I hope Gaiam keeps it in stock for a long while to come.
