"I'm the person singled out by the biting insects! I get bitten when other family members don't; I'm allergic to many of the insect bites/stings, so they can be a serious problem. My husband bought me one of these gadgets, and I tend to wear it from early evening until bedtime, spring through fall! I have it rigged up to wear around my neck, as I tend to misplace it otherwise. I'm outdoors enough that there is usually no problem in keeping it charged; otherwise, I set it out on a porch post when the sun is high. I've had it for 2-3 years and it still works fine. It is far preferable to spraying with smelly chemicals, and is more effective for me than the wrist bands. This is excellent value for the money, and an eco-responsible buy. I'm about to buy another."
