Compact Desk Fan

Compact Desk Fan

Airflow of the Compact Desk Fan is comparable to larger, less efficient plug-in fans, and it's one of the safest fans available. You can stick your finger in the moving patented soft plastic blades without injury. It weighs under a pound, has variable speed settings and adjustable tilt head.

Four batteries (D-cells, not included) last up to 300 hours on low, or, use the optional 6-volt AC/DC adapter plug (included). Canada.

Not a bad, little fan Date: November 7, 2009
"This fan moves a fair amount of air for its size. It's small, lightweight (plugged in without batteries) and super quiet... the last point which is important since I'm a musician who uses this fan on my gigs. The drawback of it being lightweight is that it's constructed completely of plastic, aside from the electronics inside, so parts can break if unprotected and moved around often, such as in my music accessory bag. I just purchased my second one and will try to be extra careful with it since the first one didn't last more than a year."

I have used this product for: 2-5 years
great desk fan Date: July 1, 2009
"I am purchasing my third one of these little wonders. I lost the first one camping but had used it for years up until then. I bought the 2nd one for use on my desk at work and I am buying the third one to take camping, since it can run on batteries or electricity. It works really well for cooling off hot flashes! I have never had a problem."

Didn't work Date: January 5, 2009
"This appeared cheaply made and I couldn't get it to turn on when plugged in (the directions say you can use batteries OR plug in). I tried wiggling the plug but it didn't work/never turned on. I am in the process of returning it and consulted the website and packing materials on returning items that don't work, and there does not appear to be a provision for shipping in these cases, so it looks like I'll be shipping it back at my own expense in order to return it."
