"I tried this DVD for the first time yesterday and I loved it! Ana Caban is now hands down, my favorite Pilates Instructor. This DVD has 2 workouts like the detailed description says (other reviewer must have read it wrong). The first is 30 mins which is what I used. I found this to be a great DVD for those of us who a just now getting past beginner level pilates. There isn't much talk about form and the flow is relatively quick compaired to her easy/beginner pilates workouts. I am someone that doesn't have as much flexibility as Ana, but I modified where needed by keeping my knees bent; as shown in beginner level practices. The DVD went quickly and I felt it in my core and hips, especially the front of the hips which isn't a common area for me with pilates. All in all, I am glad that I purchased this workout and would buy it again in a heartbeat. This only solidifies in my mind that I need to own the rest of Ana's collection...she's 3 for 3 with me thus far. I'd recommend this DVD along with her "easy" workout and the Pilates Ring Kit. Excellent purchase and if you're keeping your core engage and working on pushing the flexibility some, you'll get a great workout. This really gives me movements and a range of motion with some that allow me room to grow."

Hmmm...not so much. Date: October 19, 2009
"I have done Pilates 2x before. So I am a beginner, BUT I get what it is. I think my complaint about this DVD is that it says it's 45 minutes. The actual workout is only 30 minutes. So I don't feel like I got much of a workout at all. Just when I thought it was ramping up, it was over. I feel like I wasted my money and now have to get another one that will challenge me more. I DID like the reminders throughout the workout to "keep shoulders down", "scoop up the tummy", etc. Because as a beginner, the form is important to remember and I have a lot to work on. I will continue to use this until I feel like I have the form mastered, and then I'll need to get one that I actually feel challenged by."
