"I have broken a few of my toes and they didn't heal properly. I also have a bunion starting on one of my feet and these sandals have helped to straighten out my toes and relieved pain. I recommend them for people with alignment issues."

"These sandals are very sturdy and well made, but the separators for the toes are made from plastic and they hurt my toes and gave me blisters. I cut the plastic off and now they fit perfectly."

"I was having problems with my feet cramping up in karate, for the past two months I've worn these sandals every chance I get and my feet have never felt better. They're a bit expensive, but it's definitely a purchase I'm glad I made."

"I am a licensed massage therapist, and I'm on my feet a lot. I bought these yoga sandals because I thought they would help my toes spread out and allow me to feel more centered and grounded during massage sessions. They did! Not only that, I also notice that the pain in my lower back has disappeared and my feet feel great at the end of a long workday. These sandals are great! My feet are a 7.5 so I bought a medium. The length fits great, but the strap over the top of the foot is a little loose, but this doesn't take away from the overall performance at all."

"I suffer from plantar fasciitis and my doctor told me to always wear something on my feet, with arch support. I wear my yoga sandals, not only doing yoga but in the shower as well. The only thing that would have made them better is if they had arch support. But I bought some gel-like arches and glued them in and they stuck, even with daily water use. They have helped my toes and balance."

"I've just ordered my third pair of yoga sandals in two years. I love them. My balance has improved as have my toes, they no longer curl as much as they use to. My only complaints are that the plastic string coverings (between the toes) split after a while - which can get pretty uncomfortable, and they are, in my opinion, over priced by about $10. A reasonable price would be around $20."

"I suffered with plantar fasciitis for over a year after breaking my foot in a fall. My podiatrist said no more flip-flops, which I wore as many months as possible throughout the year. After buying one pair of Gaiam Yoga Sandals, I have been pain free for 2 years, and just bought 2 more pair in case they discontinue them!! I love them, my feet love them!!"

"these sandals are wonderful and seem to be straightening out my foot, which has endured nearly 20 years in nursing shoes. they have, over the last few months, decreased the angle of a mild bunion on my right foot. Alas, they are not puppy proof, but the pups gave it a 5 star in areas such as tug-of-war, deep puncture practice, and stalking 101."

"I think the principle behind these Sandals is good, but the plastic covering each thong straps HURTS.
I wear a size 5-6 shoe, and the size small fit me fine.
I'm sorry these did not work out for me...they are going back to Gaiam......"

"Had to return them. They caused pain not between my toes but on the bottom outside of my feet, even when I wasn't wearing them. Sometime I might try another pair but a different brand/design."

Best Flip Flops Ever Date: December 18, 2008
"I hate flip flops. I hate the way I feel like I have to hold onto them with my toes as I walk, because otherwise the soles slide around and escape my feet. These shoes stay in place with no effort on my part!

I also have hammertoes, and very bent pinkie toes - the pinkie toes bend in and under my other toes. After wearing these sandals for a mere twenty minutes, my toes were straighter and more properly aligned.

I agree, at first they are uncomfortable, but after a little while your feet get used to it, and they feel quite good. I would recommend these to anyone."
