"I'd heard Earth shoes were comfortable but didn't know HOW comfortable until I bought these boots. They're so cozy you want to wear them like slippers, and my back (which can act up) felt great after wearing them while walking around town."

"Awesome bargain at the sale price too! Once you switch over to Earth Shoes, it is hard to go back. These boots were the perfect addition to my Earth Shoes collection. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5 so I ordered the 9.5 to leave me a little extra room for warm socks.
Scotchguarding sounds like a good idea, but I would do an inconspicious test spot first. Thanks for the suggestion."

Great boots with INACCURATE sizing

"Someone asked if these boots ran true to size and the answer was yes. I disagree! I ordered a Size 9 and they felt too big, so I had a friend who wears Size 10 try them on. They fit her PERFECTLY. I then experimented by asking other friends who wear Size 9s to try the boots. 5 women who wear Size 9 tried the boots and it was unanimous: The boots were too big. I was very disapoointed because the boots are otherwise well made, comfortable, warm, cute and functional. I own more than half a dozen pairs of Earth shoes, boots and sandals and had not experienced sizing problems till I got these boots. I had to sell them at a loss to a friend because the cost to ship them back to Gaiam didn't make it worthwhile to me. Summary: 5 Stars for the boot, 3 Stars for the inaccurate sizing. It`s a fantastic boot but make sure you check with Gaiam to see if the boot has been redesigned to be true to size before you order your usual size."
