"I never spend too much on pajamas and this was a splurge for me. Very soft and comfortable, I was just a little disappointed when I washed them in cold water and the top shrunk some and shortened the length, other than that great purchase!"

"I purchased 100% cotton knit pajamas from Gaiam many years ago. I just retired them. I try to only sleep in cotton. If you are experiencing "your own personal summer" all year round like I do, I can't wait to put them on after my shower. You won't go back to synthetics, mark my words! They are softer after the first wash, hang them after a few minutes in the dryer. no need to iron them. enjoy them, they are a slice of heaven to me!"

So Disappointing

"I was so excited to receive these! I am sad to agree with the other short ladies who reviewed. The inseam measurement on the size chart is 29" (which I happen to be)- however these pants were huge. The bottom seam on the top is not even and it buckles between the buttons. I am happy I can return them, however the sizing chart should reflect the actual size so I can save the $16+ dollars now lost to shipping."

"I received these as a gift (which I had requested) and was really pleased with their feel and appearance. I'm 5'3, 120lbs, and usually wear a 2 or a 4, so based on Gaiam's size charts, I assumed the Small might be on the roomier side. Unfortunately, once I put them on, I found that they ran VERY large. I'm basically swimming in the bottoms, even after tying the elastic very tight and rolling the waistband. I tried washing and drying them, but strangely, the only shrinkage was to the length of the arms (which are now far too short on me). Overall, this is a lovely pair of pajamas, but I wouldn't recommend them for petite women. I love Gaiam's products, and wish they would start making/ carrying X-Small apparel...."

"I was pleasantly surprised that the short, boxy top looked good. I am petite, fairly busty, and the small fits me well. (Side slits are almost at my waist.) Very comfortable, soft fabric. Love the plum color. The only down side is the top lost its shape after washing, somewhat typical of jersey. (Cold washed, hang dried.) OK, except the buttons do not stay buttoned. I am not a restless sleeper and sleep mostly on my back, so I think it's the button holes..."

"I LOVE these pajamas. They are soft and very comfortable. I fully intend on getting another pair as soon as I can. My only complaint was that the sleeves are a little short. But I have long arms, so most people will fit into them perfectly. The pants were nice and long- which I love. I think that feature will be appreciated by everyone- considering most pajama pants shrink terribly and then are too short. Don't hesitate on buying these- they're great!!"

"I read other reviews and was advised to buy a larger size as it would shrink some. I am so disappointed in the fit. I should have ordered Med, because it did not shrink, and the pants are too long. The shirt is baggy, but I don't mind that. I am 5'4" and I am sure the med. size would have been fine. The material is very very soft and comfy. It is well made, and is worth the money."

"After buying 2 sets of these PJs for my wife, we decided to get a pair for our (pregnant) daughter-in-law so she'd be nice and comfy over the winter. She loves the adjustable drawstring! And they come in a nifty little sack. The only problem my wife has encountered is the fabric is pulling out where the buttons attach - but this is on her first pair which is 4 years old."

"I have a pear shaped body. This pajama is definitely soft and comfy and cotton is thick. The pants are long enough though smaller in the thigh (however, they do stretch). The disappointing part is the top. It is WAY too wide and too short (the sleeves though are fine). It looks like 3 of me could fit into the top! the length falls just underneath my belly button. It is not very flattering at all. I was disappointed because I like to feel good AND look nice. If you don't care how you look, then this is a good buy because it IS very comfortable."

"These pajamas are the most comfortable and softest pajamas I've ever owned. I've now ordered additional pairs as I missed them when they were in the wash.
The top runs large, but still has a stylish shape to it. The pants runs a little slim in the legs, in comparison to the overly generous top.
The wash and wear great and look as though they are going to stay in good condition for quite some time.
I would higly recommend these anyone looking for extremely soft and comfortable pajamas."
