"When a Dr. nicked my femoral nerve while biopsying a cyst in my left groin, I lost all use of my left leg. At the time I had 1 pair of Earth shoes. I immediately donated all of my shoes, except the Earth, and started buying only Earth Shoes. If I couldn't walk or feel anything, I was going to make sure every step I took, even in a brace, walker, cane, they changed as my nerves tried to reconnect themselves, counted.
Now, 2 years later, I can walk maybe 50 feet by myself, my legs are toned, strong, look the same instead of one being atrophied, and I've been able to keep them that way by wearing Earth shoes, even to go to the bathroom.
Earth Shoes gave me exercise when I couldn't feel anything and my EMG flat-lined. Every pair I've worn, I love. The come in sandals, shoes, boots, stylish and hiking, tennis shoes and every shoe imaginable. Try then on, make sure they are immediately comfortable. You do not need to break them in. Being that my exercise is very limited, keeping my shape and my leg not being atrophied is a miracle I owe to God, Earth Shoes and yoga planks.
Gaiam will exchange or refund your money if the shoes don't fit or are not comfortable to your foot. The price is excellent and the style looks cute. The common price for an Earth Shoe usually starts at $100.00+ and they are well worth it!"
