As good as it sounds

"I was looking for a mat that would give me more cushion doing Pilates on a wood floor. I was wary of this one since it didn't look very thick. It's thinner than the one I was using but it's more dense so it really does provide more cushion. I'm very happy with it!"

"Just as the website claims, the yoga mat is very thick. It is ideal for somone who would generally place a towel under the knees during kneeling exercises. I purchased the purple colored one - very pretty."

"I've been pleased with this mat. It's thicker than many mats and provides excellent cushioning. It's stickiness definitely helps keep me from sliding. I bought the chai color and I wish it was a bit lighter. However, I had almost no smell as some other reviewers had mentioned. All in all, a very good purchase."

"I have nothing to compare it to but it's ok for my first mat. When I get very sweaty my hands slip, but very rarely.The mat stays in place. I like the color. It didnt smell that bad when I took it out of the package."

"I opened the box and put the mat right to work. (Actually, I aired it out for about 24 hours first to get rid of the petroleum smell.) It's great. The extra thickness is a big help to the knees on hardwood floors. Very happy with this purchase."

"I bought this mat about a year and a half ago and have loved it ever since! I was a little bit hesitant buying a mat online, but i lived overseas at the time and didnt have many options. It is so comfortable and cushiony, and enables me to hold my poses very well. The only drawback i would say is that it is now starting to do this thing where when i am in Warrior 1/2, my feet feel like there is something grainy underneath them, turns out, its like the mat is flaking apart (Maybe i have used it too much?) And also my hands are starting to slip, never used to before, but i am thinking this has something to do with the age/usage of it. Anyways, i still love it--but i think i am going to try something with a longer life span."

Great yoga mat

"First of all the color for the Chai on the website is a little lighter on the website than it is when you actually see it... its more of a vert dark chocolate color... which was fine by me it actually matches my rug color to a T, so it looks like i'm doing yoga with no mat :-D... When I first got this mat when I came home I immediately opened it and tried it out. I slipped all over the place because I didnt wash it first but after I wiped it down with some vinegar and let it dry it did exactly what it said it would do!! This mat is great It holds me in place when practicing yoga I love this mat!!!"

"My husband and sons purchased this for me for Mother's Day (I had to drop a hint!!). I just LOVE it!! I do Yoga outside on my cement patio during the spring, summer and fall, and this is a wonderful thickness and provides the ultimate "hold" for feet placement.
I did not own a mat prior to this and would do my yoga routine on my living room carpet. Wow, what a difference this mat makes. I can see a noticeable difference in my body. Proper form means more firmness and weight loss. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this mat."

NOT a sticky mat!

"I got this mat for my birthday so that I could retire my old mat...which was sticky but thin. This mat is very cushioned which makes balancing more challenging and it is not at all sticky. My feet slide all over the place and the mat moves too! I am completely disappointed and will definitely be returning it. I do not recommend this mat unless you do only floor poses and don't have trouble balancing..."

Beautiful Mat

"I purchased the stripe mat and when I recieved it I was so happy. The mat looked better than the picture displayed. I really put this mat into use during my yoga practices and there is so much cushion so I don't feel uncomfortable doing floor movements. There is a great grip on this mat so I can keep my poses steady. This mat has great material and I feel it will last me a lifetime."
