Inspiring!

"This yoga mat inspires me to bring my home practice up a few notches! It is very comfortable and has great "stickiness". After doing online comparisons I decided on this mat, since it seemed the most reasonable price with what I know to be dependable Gaiam service. I had no idea this would give my practice such a great boost! Not only does it feel good, but it is environmentally sound as well. I give it 5 stars."

Great texture!

"If you've ever listened to the open cell vs closed cell yoga mat debate, you may be pro or con this mat because it's an open cell rubber. Personally, I like open cell despite its ability to trap ickies. I think it has a much better feel and grip. This mat has a great honeycomb like texture which would wick away moisture if you're doing a sweaty session. But at the same time, it's hard to clean in between the honeycombs. It's not very sticky, but it's grippy as most rubbers are. It's also a little stretchy- again, as most rubbers are. All together, I'm pleased with this mat, but I've only had it a couple of days. I know with previous rubber mats I've had, they tend to wear out very fast. Time will tell with this one!"

Slightly Disappointed

"I was really excited to get such a thick, Eco-friendly mat. Although the price was kind of high, I felt it was worth it. When I received the mat, it had a smell to it and I had to air it out for a while, over a month. Only recently have I been able to use it, and I must admit I am a bit disappointed with its lack of stickiness. Also after using it, my hands smell like the mat. Overall a good product, just the smell and lack of stickiness."

Eco Mat for Yoga

"While this is clearly the best yoga mat I have ever done yoga on, I am upset at how easily it starts to break apart. I have not had it more than 6 mos when chunks of rubber began to break apart. For comfort, stickiness, etc...its fab--i would think that with this price tag it would have a longer life."
