"The chair was easy to assemble and the hand pump is useful. However, it works best when I am mindful of my posture and actively working on the computer. Sitting on the ball incorrectly resultd in straining my lower back above one hip, so I use my office chair when watching movies or doing something I know I will not be mindfuk of my posture for extended periods of time."

"We decided to replace the home computer desk chair with the balance ball. Now we wonder why we waited so long. This is a must have to improve posture and it doubles as an exercise tool. Great for those with space constraints, like us! Give it a try. You cannot go wrong. It has been great for my lower back. With the caster feet, I often use the chair to practice classical guitar. Not sure if that is recommended but works for me by forcing me to keep proper posture. Keep in mind that it may take some getting used to, depending on your current posture and back/stomach muscle tone. But don't give up. Your body will thank you in the long run."

"I have a stiff lower back, so I thought I would try this chair first before having to buy a desk chair that costs over 500 dollars...while I thought that the ball chair was comfortable, I was disappointed that it was too low for my desk/computer screen, so I called the company to see if I could use a larger ball and they were helpful to tell me to pump the ball up more. They were right! it was underinflated (I even thought, gee it doesn't look taught or smooth when I initially pumped it up) and now the height is perfect and the ball fills out to the back of the chair fully. First pump it up and use it a day or so so it stretches into shape and then pump it up again with a bicycle pump and a friend to help hold the seal tight or maybe use tape to secure it...so it is nice and round and smooth. enjoy! I'm hoping that after I use it more, I will increase the rating to 5 stars, but for right now it is a good 4 star product and value. The chair is easy to assemble and the pumping up was easy by myself the first time and also the second time with my hubby helping me, otherwise it may be a little more frustrating and time consuming but not overly so."

"When I first read about it, I was very excited. When I got it and used it for a few weeks, I was less excited. I ended up switching back to my old desk chair. I personally need the back of the chair to be closer to the middle of the ball so that I can sit up straight without having to hold myself up, when I get tired of 'holding myself up.' The concept of the chair is great. This is for someone that knows that they will never get tired of sitting erect all the time. But for those who want to sit back sometimes, this is not the chair for you."

"The chair was a good value on sale and easy to put together. I was a little concerned about the height based on some reviews I had read. I ended up using my small balance ball, that I already had, instead of the one that came with the chair, as this made the chair a little higher and the right size for my desk for me (I am only 5' 3"). I would have preferred the option of only buying the chair frame, but this wasn't available."

"I can only sit on the ball for 30-45-minutes before my butt is burning so badly and is so numb (numb, although I still feel the burn) that I have to switch back to my old chair for instant relief. Otherwise, I'm happy with the way the chair looks and the way that it helps position my pelvis and back. I'm just hoping that maybe I will get used to it and the numbness/butt pain will go away. I do think it is too expensive - surely these can be cheaper than $100."

"I have been wanting this for so long, and now that I finally purchased it, I am very disappointed. The ball when fully inflated is too small to use at my desk which is of normal height. The ball is too small to use on it's own at a desk or for exercise (I'm 5'4"). The bar that holds the ball in place it of no use since the ball is so small it doesn't come close to the bar, and the bar is uncomfortable on the back of my legs. The ball is so small, it gets stuck in the hole in the chair, and could never fall out even without it's useless bar. This tiny, little, useless ball is ergonomically incorrect. The balls in the pic and video clip are larger. They must be different balls which is false advertisement as far as I am concerned. The only thing good about this product, is that it was simple to put together and take apart which is why I gave it 5 stars in one of it's catergories. Don't waste your time and money ordering this. I can't wait for my refund."

It sounds as if your ball is not fully inflated. I am sitting on one right now and my ball is way to big to fall through the hole. When the ball is properly inflated your seat height should be 23". "This is a comfortable chair and being on wheels allows for ease in moving about however I find it is easy to slouch where using just a ball alone would engage my core more. The ball is too small to use without its base.
Nice as a chair, but not useful in exercising or strengthening the core with the wheel base."

"I love this chair, it keeps my core active all day. The ball takes a while to get filled up when you first get it, which means you must pump it up a little more each day until it is filled. Once it is filled then it is the perfect height to work on my computer all day. I have had the chair for months and have not had to refill it. It is not the type of chair you are going to sit back and relax in. I love it."
